Procedures and Registration

  • All sales are final. No refunds. No exceptions.

  • Mat space is clearly marked inside the hot room.

  • Walk-in sales on the day of class are not permitted. Everyone must have a current membership package or class pack and register in advance for class online or through our app. We can help you renew your membership/class pack at the studio only for a future day and class reservation, so you can then register in advance for your classes.

  • Online or app registration is only open for classes up to 7 days in advance. 

  • Registration is limited to one class per day, per client, regardless of your membership type.


Safety

  • The studio will be locked once class begins and late-comers will not be admitted.  

  • If you are sick (COVID, cold, flu, or otherwise) please do not come in to practice. If you believe you have been exposed to COVID-19 and feel unwell, or are required to quarantine, please do not come to class. Email us at info@steamtownyoga.com and we will find a suitable option for your membership until you can return to the studio. 

  • Upgraded ventilation - air exchange - filtration systems are in place. HEPA filters, UV lights, and pharmaceutical-grade charcoal filters are installed throughout the premises to continuously purify & sterilize the air, surfaces, and props. Our cleaning regimen includes and exceeds CDC and WHO-recommended products and policies to reduce the spread of COVID-19. 

  • All high-touch areas are sterilized, and floors are mopped and sanitized, for every class. Every class comes into a completely clean facility.

  • Hand sanitizer is located throughout the studio. 

  • Upgraded mat and prop sprays are available and located near the yoga room.


Class Waitlist and Cancellation

  • Our pop-up studio is an intimate space! Every space counts, so please do not register for classes you do not intend to attend and cancel in advance when you can no longer make it.

  • We charge a $20 no-show/late cancellation fee for any class registration canceled within 120 minutes (2 hours) of class start - and for no-shows.  

  • If you are on a 5 or 10 class pass and late cancel or no-show for class, the class will be deducted from your class pack instead of being charged $20.

  • If you cannot attend a class for which you’ve registered, to avoid being charged the $20 fee, you must cancel your registration at least 120 minutes prior to class start to open the space for another client. 

  • If you are on the waitlist and have been added to class, you will be notified via a notification on the SHY app and through the email address we have on file at least 2 hours in advance of the class start. This way you can cancel your reservation if needed without incurring a late charge, and open the spot again for the next person on the waitlist.

  • You can also check your waitlist status through the app: Click “My Schedule” at the bottom when you are logged in and all of your registered classes will be listed. Your waitlist status will appear for each class you are waitlisted.

  • Be sure to enable your notifications! We cannot do this for you — you must “opt-in” according to your preferences for email, text, and app notifications.

Q: How do I register in advance for class? 

A: Follow these steps:

  • Download our free app

  • If you have a current class pack or membership, create/log in to your account, choose your class from the calendar, and click book. 

  • If you need to purchase a pass or membership, you will be prompted to do so once you choose a class you desire to attend.

  • You may also register online here or through our schedule page here and follow the same steps. 

Q: How do I cancel a class I’ve registered for? 

A: Use our free app, click on “My Schedule” and find the class for which you are registered and wish to schedule. Swipe left and click the red “cancel” button. Please note we cannot accept class cancelations via phone or voicemail or email.
